On Friday 4th March, Hillpark School took part in a 'Red and Black Day' to support the people of Christchurch. We all brought a gold coin donation to school. During the day we used our black and yellow thinking hats to talk about all of the bad and good things that happened because of the earthquake. We realised that even though lots of people lost there lives, people were doing all that they could to help each other.
Well done Room 3! I used to live in Christchurch and it makes me sad to see what has happened to such a lovely city. It's nice that everyone in NZ is doing what they can to help. I look forward to reading future postings on your blog. Kerry Mitchell (Ella's mum)
